Corset of Emptiness

There is a cavern
The angry sound of my fears not quite filling the void
Being drowned by anguished tears
Exercise for the soul
surfing my hurt
a harsh spiral
into the empty blackess

Tear through the flesh
Release that which consumes us
Allow your soul to fly
Higher than the living
If in death our spirit is soaring
It will pick us up to fly along

A cry to be free of the corset
The corset of emptiness residing deep within my core
A pain so deep
To open my wounds raw
The flighty temptress of solace that evades my heart
Booming with a rhythm
A continuous music
the bass of my existence

A yearning unquenched
An unknown uenxplored
The meaningless existence of a life half lived
Being washed away in a sea of black bleeding red
Will my wounds gape with the emptiness
sending them to the darkness of death
Time festers
He knows where we will end
Where it all ends
As do we all
So fly ...
