It's hard for me to get the flow of your rhymes when placed in this format..., also, you actually have 18 bars (if going by the breaks or slashes that you put in). I think the content is decent enough, but the flow isn't good the way it read. Maybe you could try to rearrange the way you present it, like in 4 stanzas of 4, or 2 stanzas of 8, (or whatever is comfortable for you). That would make it easier read, (I've had that issue from time to time when writing rhymes..., & no i was not trying to rhyme just then).
