not just for night anymore

o o o o o o
every time i turn around, you’re lookin’ up and i fall down,
to my knees,
and now i’m begging you please
don’t go.

just come with me, and take my hand,
we’ll dance and sing forever, or at least ‘til we can no longer stand
at all
and we’ll just fall
in
love all over again.

down on this old futon.
we’ll stay awake for hours, or at least ‘til we’ve got no more say.
there’s no way,
because the day
has
already come to

take us
somewhere, and
make us
something
together.
our dreams aren’t just for night anymore.
