My Heart Beats For You...

My heart beats for you
In everything I do
My heart beats for you
I hope you feel it too

My heart beats for you
I long for your touch
My heart beats for you
I love you so very much

My heart beats for you
I see you from a distance
My heart beats for you
I offer no resistance

My heart beats for you
I long to be by your side
My heart beats for you
You make my mind go wild

My heart beats for you
Your skin so soft and smooth
My heart beats for you
I'd love to make that move

My heart beats for you
Your voice so soft and tender
My heart beats for you
I gladly lay down and surrender

My heart beats for you
My life now has a meaning
My heart beats for you
It's you I now believe in

My heart beats for you
Your lips are so inviting
My heart beats for you
You’ve made my life exciting

My heart beats for you
I wish your body next to mine
My heart beats for you
To make love to time after time

My heart beats for you
I’d like our lives complete

This sounds almost like it could be lyrics to a song. One line you migh think of changing as it is repetitive: "In you I now believe in" Instead of starting with in and ending with in, how about It's you I now believe in? The repeating of the line my heart beats for you is soft and thrumming, like a heartbeat. Good job.

    Thank you Joan.. I appreciate your words and adjusted the line mentioned as you are quite right about that thank you Smile... the aim was to give the reader the feeling of the Heartbeat...I must admit I never thought of converting it into lyrics though... i'll think on that one for sure... thank you for taking the time to read my writing... it always means alot to hear the thought's of others...Stay safe...Woods
