Is there no difference?

burden, siren, monster

I understand what you are
I understand you exist to hinder me
I understand the ease of avoidance

I do not comprehend why I dont listen to myself
Why?
Why do I return to the suffering?
Why seek out the inevitable pain?

burden, siren, monster

My mind screams out to me
Terrified of what is to come
I foolishly ignore

Understanding completely
I think I understand insanity
Only a madman would return to you
And make the new path obsolete

A path of solitude
Or a path of suffering

Is there no difference?

If I knew a man thought of me as a "burden, siren, monster," I'd have to kill myself. But hey, that's just me. :O Make a sharp right-hand turn at the crossroad of solitude sounds pretty good 'bout now.
