Farewell Mary Travers

She entered our lives
singing Blowin' in the Wind,
left on a jet plane.
Touched our hearts and changed our lives
so, don't think twice, it's alright.

Golly, that is sad news. Thank you for making me aware of Mary's passing. I loved to her singing with PP & M.
A nice tribute.

    Thank you. PP&M played a large part in my life. Their music inspired me and moved me. I am still saddened when I remember this great voice and person are gone from this earth.

Zbird - beautiful. I also posted a poem last evening after hearing of Mary's passing. It's entitled "My Tribute to Mary Travers" - please have a look and let me know what you think.

It was a crazy and wonderful time for music and many others things during the crazy '60's when America grew up! She will be missed.

Again, really beautiful poem.
