wow this is really deep. Well done. I hate that people are still ignorant about things like skin color. My family is mixed from irish to african- american so I guess racism is something I will never understand.

Yea, I'm a whitey and i still don't understand it. Discrimination because of colour or race. I don't fathom, I mean we are all the same bar this minor things. Thanks for commenting Nerdgirl. Cheers. dAVE

excellant- i know what this is about.........
australia- is slowly learning. but i fear, its not until our indigenous kids also mix with the private school snobs- that we'll really see a massive change in attitude......
its really comes down to personal experience,
aboriginials, and darker coloured peoples- always get a harder run for their money- despite them putting in extra effort- and trying extra hard to just maintain a middleclass lifestyle.....
thats my 2 cents worth;-)

Rad, always look forward to your honest opinion. What you have said is exactly the truth. I know of acouple of Aboriginal men that earn more than me yet still face the callenge of a normal acceptence in society. Just because their black people wonder were they got their money. they have trouble getting served in shops and or refused entry into venues. it's a shame that we all can do without. BTW, nice poem and I like it. The jsame thing goes on here, things changs slowly, There where so many are Native peoples, It is also a problem of peole who want to stay in tougch with their own culture and assimilate to the mainstream culture, right?
