Humpty Dumpty Revisited

HUMPTY DUMPTY REVISITED

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Or so the story goes
But where it started, how it began
I guess no one really knows.

Humpty’s an egg, so I’ve always been told
So many questions abound
And eggs have no arms or legs that I’ve seen,
And their rumps are exceedingly round.

So I guess the main question, other than why the KING’S men
Should always have been to this day,
Is, “How did an egg, with his bulbous behind
Get on that wall anyway?”

This is really good.

'Humpty Dumpty', like many nursery rhymes, has a very important esoteric meaning.

From the Proverbs of Khem:

On Anointed Majesty

So the people are fruitful, and multiply
God divides the King -- for love's sake.

Just ask Humpty Dumpty.

Ha! Maybe he fell out of a nest and landed there? Though why the king would place so much importance on an egg is beyond me...and i never worked out exactly how he could've thought the horses could put him together again. (could be down to royal inbreeding of course) question..questions...anyway- great write. My kids'll like this one too, take care, spence
