Different Person

I am a different person now.
I am a better person.
I am a worse person.
I like this new person.

I remember the old person, he is not completely gone.
You changed this person, you are the variable.
I don’t know if you will like this person, he is not what you know.
I like this new person.

Things don’t hurt as much, but they’re still there.
Depression isn’t paralyzing anymore, it’s just a passing mood.
I can talk to new people now, and not be held back.
I like this new person.

This new person is stronger.
This new person is shallow.
This new person doesn’t need you.
I like this new person

This person has countered your sin with at least two if his own.
And he liked it.
This new person laughs at what used to make him cry.
This new person now pity’s you.

This new person is the game player, not the sorry loser.
You can’t play anymore, I hold the new cards.
You don’t know this new person but he is I.
I like this new person.

This new person actually sees a future.
I like this new person.
Hey new person, let me ride your comet.
I am a different person now.

I really like this - my favorite part is this:
