Too early swept off this plane
Car crash in the dark
Never to be seen again
A terrible waste...

    I seemed to have left out the last line which does not really change it that much.

    It is a sad thing when someone is suddenly snatched out of your life.
    Not much of an excuse but I guess I have my reasons for not thinking to straight.

Thank you for honoring my father with this poem. His favorite art-form was poetry and I'm sure he'd appreciate it. It's good to know others hold him close in their hearts. Even in the vastness of cyberspace Wink He definitely would enjoy that detail as well.

    I spoke to your dad within 24 hours of his passing.. we corresponded regularly. He was a great help to myself and everyone around him. He gave of himself without asking for any reward and will always be remembered.

    One year later, it's still hard to believe he's gone. It would be nice to see his poetry printed - he was a true genius, in more ways than one.
