Not backed down a single bit
Instead you morphed into

The devil

Hiding in your desecration
Dividing a family
Defeating a nation

You are evil…….

And as the children cry
You order a beer
And light a smoke

Grinning all the while

I loved the part where you said "You order a beer

    Thanks - that's what I want to do right about now - drink a beer, light a smoke, and grin about how I am going to act upon my anger - oh yeah that's evil - time to go back to bed and wake up to a different life - lol - on my there right now!

and senseless as well
ordering a beer and lighting a smoke while the children cry
and Grinning all the while takes it home

    WHO - me- something else? Yeah like the welcome mat everyone wipes the shit off their shoes on - unbelievable I swear - it's like time just stopped - expired - someone switched the ending on me - that is the 3rd time this year that this happened in such a devestating way - I think god is punishing me - I just wish I knew why.

I like the multiple possibilities of interpretation here..familial, national, or worldwide. And you provide a contemporary twist on Nero..his fiddle morphed into a beer and smoke. Intriguing.
