The Real Minky (for you)

I see you as who you are
I see you kneeling under the stars
Naked, praying to God above
Begging for someone to show you love

Little do you know you're special to me
Something I've waited long to see
Something in you has me insecure
Making me realize just how unsure

I am about the things I feel
only knowing my feelings are real
I tried to reach the heavens above
And plead to them to give you love

But I was told to let you see
For yourself, what I have inside me
So I hope to show you my true being
letting you know just how freeing

It is to be a part of you
It is to know your side that's true

Tucked away so you can't see
Hoping you won't run from me.
I reach out from far away
Hoping to make you happy
Just one more day.

You're beautiful to me.
