Waterfall Where Fairies Preen

One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
I viewed a double rainbow over a waterfall.
I was more awed than I've ever been.

The mist that gathered looked so clean.
The hues and sub-hues I could not call.
One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

I was in my T-shirt and blue-jeans.
I should have been dressed for a ball.
I was more awed than I've ever been.

I wasn't prepared for the magnificent scene.
We camped there and listened to it all.
One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

The rainbow left an imprint, I can glean.
The waterfall was like a water wall.
I was more awed than I've ever been.

A waterfall where fairies preen.
A double rainbow for us all.
One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
I was more awed than I've ever been..

You capture well the essences of natures
beauty and for that i applaud you, I enjoy
the rhyme and rythm of the poem as well,
was this an actual place or a mythical one?

Ahhhh, rainbows and waterfalls, Wolfie - favorite subjects of mine. Somehow I believe they are there for us, even if hidden away so no one ever sees them. Fairies, too; surely they live in the forest among the ferns. Enjoyed your poem, Mary Ann
