Bury the Frightened

I just want to know
What the ocean holds
A truth or a lie?
A broken bow tie?

Is there a ship sinking near
A man on board screaming
For someone to hear?

A mountain arose
Underneath my toe
A splash silenced
Bury the frightened

Blue like the sky
Float or sink?
The water collapses
And my body stings

The ocean takes
Lungs begin to suffocate
While the ocean gasps
And breathes
