In the perfume of her hair, The salty taste of her golden skin, The wild flowers that adorned her As though they were born there I also like this for the vivid image it gives my mind: "But it is she who is everywhere but here, Left me staring at a lonely stem, A child whispering into the ocean breeze She loves me, she loves me…not" Nice one, Chris!
