A CYNICAL WORLD

Welcome to my world
Where the streets are not heaven
Happiness lies in the sign of seven
Wild music tames the beast
Some can afford the beer without the yeast
Hunger is a poetic tune
Good girls make money at noon
Life is a common puzzle where everyone seems to struggle
Crime is the verge of existence
A thousand blood spills persistent
Aids is a hidden issue
A sorrow that can’t be wiped away with a tissue
The babies are born with parents
Here lies another death sentence
Without no means of acceptance
Who will teach our people to think?
When life’s answers lie in a sordid drink
The children indulge in sexual practise
The homeless are restless without a mattress
To kill is to survive
Why visit when you may never arrive
Welcome to my world where I invite you to stay
Though I promise you it could be worse
This is home after all
My home –a cynical world.
