Nyura Pam means I Love You

Gbubi ameng vien-yella
means: take care, in Dagbani.
They speak this language
in Africa over in Tamali

I am older and it's harder
for me to learn things
but, with a little of this poetic
language, I've learned to give blessings.

Naawuni ni sunga,
God bless you in Dagbani.
That's the language that they speak
over in Ghana, Tamali.

And I've learned one more thing.
The most beautiful phrase of all.
Nyura pam means I love you
and it's beauty could be universal.

thank you....It is a beautiful language..I heard it spoken on the telephone. There are a lot of rhyming words.

This is lovely. I love that you chose a language that few know.

Now im wondering if i should write a german/english poem... Ive been playing with the thought but never had the inspiration. I think I found it!
