Run for cover

Dark clouds run to cover sun’s face,
with intermittent lightening to join the race,
Descending on earth with malign intent,
Fear, destruction all with dreaded content,

Pin drop silence prevails at midnight
there is great impact of falling light
Stars may loose sometimes their tail
We will catch the sight and not fail

Little murmur can be heard even if spoken with care
You may think to adjust here and there
The noise of little scuffle or fierce fight, may puzzle
Everything is noticed when rain start and dazzle

Dead night makes person to think bad make pessimist
No hope of revival as is one in the case of optimist
Pessimism sometimes may lead to the sinking of ship
Optimist may try to salvage the ship by issuing whip

One must remain alert and awake
Even if nothing is concerned to him or is at stake
Person should control his anger and wishes,
How water is not disturbed with movement of fishes

Mid night fear is very deep in the minds of individual
He is frightened and doesn’t take it as casual
It is propagated that holy souls depart at night
It is deep rooted in mind and seems very right,

Evil doer’s absence may not be noticed or missed;
good and right people will always be remembered and noticed
Nights descend with gloom and dull feelings
No one may prefer to venture out with willingness

Nights represent bleak future for all times to come
Any unpleasant things may not be welcome
Even flowers feel shame and not boom
We try to confine and remain in closed room

Why all wrong doings takes place at night,
why do we prefer and consider it right?
Night is not all that bad but place to seek refuge
Dreams may offer solace with fresh ideas to infuse

Nights may offer very calm and cool atmosphere
Person may resort to any ideas without any fear
it is preparation for next days strategy with precision
it may influence the course of action with correct decision

Nights are not meant for any preparation for long battle
It is place to rest your mind and coolly settle
Everything must come at standstill and simply rest
You can expect better tomorrow and hope for the best

Day and night to be viewed with equal feelings
Even days are witnessed with gruesome murders and killings
We take it as part of destiny and simple fate
We may take it seriously but act very late
