When My Journey Ends

Shed no tears of sadness
do not mourn my passing
when my journey ends.

My life has been full
of adventures and fun, so
shed no tears of sadness,

but rejoice in my life
and dance with me one more time.
When my journey ends

I will smile and remember
the music of my life. I will
shed no tears. Of sadness

we will not speak. Instead
we will say remember
when. My journey ends

but my legacy goes on. I will ski one
last mountain, write one last poem.
When my journey ends
shed no tears of sadness.

This is soooo poignant and heartfelt - left me with such a feeling of sadness, but not in a depressed way, more like a feeling of melancoly. It says so much, beautifully. A 10 and a fav for me.
