unflowering

she has made my bones shiver when her eyes lit upon him

(each man distantly a lover was fucked
into burial by her hips and soft orgasms of his name
were uttered into earth)

after, she warmed him with unapparent folds of body
the nights only knowing the spontaneous bursts of heart beats
(it sounded like hers, having swam upon waves of ocean)

could she not scrub her bones from flesh or find his love
deep in her large, deep set eyes, they left to rust?
(his adoration was moon)

I cried, weeping tears she refused
