A Desolate Scottish Island.

How I long, to empty my platter,
Far away from the throng, and chitter chatter.

To Live on a Lush green Scottish Island
With my Loved ones, Alone
And build a stone cottage, of my own.

To Live, off the wild, windswept Land
Surrounded by stormy sea
With no TV, or Electricity.
To Be free as the Gull
to be who I want to be.

To be inspired by all creation
a home to place my Heart
and read and write,
and watch the Northern sky at night

Oh, to leave this crazy world behind,l
and Heal, and sooth my cluttered mind.

I so enjoyed this, written from your heart.
Perhaps you cannot imagine how it swept
me back to my little cabin in Southeast
Alaska .... a fair distance from Scotland.
I raise my glass to all the isolated islands
and especially your lovely poem.
