Through darkness

Dim the lights and I see u
All alone and scared
Bewilder and unchanged
Years may have pass by
But you’re still that little girl
Surrounded by your thoughts
Not knowing what to make of them
Waiting and hoping
For life to make its mark on you
To bring you peace
Bring you happiness
And put your mind at ease
Only I can see what is destined for you
What your really feel
What you really want
Who you really are
But who am I to say
What would become of you?
I am only your shadow
Walking along side of you
Through this God forsaken world
That has now become our playground.

This world once belonged to the human spirit and sacred search..it seems amidst all the confusion and selfishness, an awakening of the masses is the only way to heal globally...though this is sad, i feel these types of poems need to be seen and introspected upon...we are all strangers to an extent, but brothers and sisters- first..be well..qaj
