Checkmate

Idealism and sanity melt away like the pictures you drew in the sand, leaving the hazy, incandescent line of brilliance or lunacy.
Words are a riotous display of fireworks bubbling from the blister of infected thoughts.
It's the silence that brings the ringing back.
Slowly, disguise yourself with patterned truths, and checkmate your conscious into lock and key.
