LEAVING THE CHAINS BEHIND.

I'm tired, I've no fight left
No more arguments can I take
or shunted nights alone in a once warm bed
No more can I find that elusive reserve smile
just too cover my broken mind
No more can I accept the hi-way robbery that occurs everyday
No
I have walked enough hard weary miles too know when to quit
I've seen enough battles and demons too finish me
my fight has been and gone and I lost
You can only walk the edge for so long before you fall off
There will be no ladder to scale
No hand to pull me back from the Edge
No
For so long I have struggled too keep control and got no where
The message I sent was never received by those it was meant for
Bad still trumps good and I still lose
My point of reasoning is gone and my shadows are still too dark
No
I have no control of destiny and it is what steers me
No more shall I be a disappointment to any one
I shall go quietly to the unknown
The tear that I shed will be for those I held dear and loved
those that suffered via my incomplete life
No
No more shall I burden this world that does not know me

I think anyone who can write such prophetic and heartfelt words as this (I'm speaking of the coherent intelligence it takes) is some way off going anywhere; does that mean we have to keep reading your poems? (I look forward to them, just in case you try to drown yourself in a cup of tea or something equally as dangerous)! Liner
