"Writing's On The Wall"

The finest taste I ever known was living my life by my written words rather
than by the the pen or sword...slitting my throat for dying all alone

Chilling words and melodic overtones waft about my soul like a delicate essence
of a beautiful woman's perfume while her skin is still damp from the mist

Shadows of horrid memories of not allowing my words to sift through the cracks
of time and end up lost on some deserted isle unread for miles

My tears cannot cry any longer, my face cannot withstand the rivers of tears that
rips my flesh like an angry abominable beast with no restraint of its will power

I wrote this last verse with you in my mind and a smile upon my fractured heart,
please do not let me fly away with only a fraction of my heart, my soul, my love
