time is agonzing.

i sit here and wait.
for for the darkness to close in on me.
for my clock to stop.
my lungs to deflate.
that reaper is at my door.
i welcomed him in.
but no.
he just watches.
watches me wait in pain.
contemplating suicide.
knowing i could never go through.
laughing at my weakness.
at my tears
all my fears.
just come take me.
away please just today.
dont wait any longer.
i cant get any stronger.

You should offer to play him a game of chess like the knight (the great Max von Sydow) in "The Seventh Seal". This way, even if you're finally taken, you can at least get something out of the exchange, no? There are much better things to do as opposed to sitting around waiting to die (depression sure as hell ain't fun for anyone) like writing a poem about sitting around waiting to die instead. That way, we can all share in your depressive state here. Wink

As long as you can write and tell a good tale through your writing, there's always a purpose to life. Be well.
