18 Gauge Steel

I feel so confused and mislead
I don't have the ability to understand
Death has been thrown in front of me
forcing an emotional up heave
I sheltered my eyes from his
resisting the pressures to believe
They all seem to know he left
with a knot tied by his own hand
An unneeded theft
An undesirable theft
My best friend is dead

A terrible thing to feel
Your noose sliding across your face
When did you know that your destiny
was to end your life in misery
Your succession must have been
the worst of all your drudgery
Did you realize the condition
of using this hiding place
Total seclusion
Absolute seclusion
Surrounded by 18 gauge steel
