lost in the process

metaphorically speaking

hmmmmmm

i was issued a fine
find the one docile immigrant
resting his soul plainly upon the vastness of dusty transvestites in tights
with spit and polish
mark the unmarking with twining gauze
blistered in the vision of bubble gum linings
extractions of exhausted neurological spine
in luminescent spinets
the cobbles wobbled in unison
plainly disgusted by the emphatic screeching of my fair lady
with twisties for hair
boxes for socks
over muffled mittens
her operatic delight strummed the tendons of the flightless har-de-dar
digging their feathery grave
aching to be swallowed whole
with protrusions of lesions in legionary armies
feelers
and
wheelers
and
dealers
and
termites
in a cocoon cacophony
spreading silk
sickly sticky convulsions
in my convoluted space
head bangers
thread walkers
swingers on tight ropes
detestable suction on sanctimonious bathers

fallen

circumference circumcise the seizure
with gaping skin
drawn out
pull in

and

gasp

…i met my mind somewhere but lost it in the process…

a-wonderful poem-great word choice creates an extremely enjoyable read-so many gems but my favorite: the sound of "the cobbles wobbled in unison"-read a loud this poem is deliciously rich-great rhythms-fun and fantastic-Great poem
