" does the body rule the mind, or does the mind rule the body?........i dunno " - still ill - the smiths.
tiny things grow in our minds
like pearls in oysters
maybe grow in to perfection, or reinforce rejection
but most just become background burlesque burrs
we are here.......and we are now
though no one really knows how
levelling lost mountains, and rogue waves
while avoiding shallow graves
apparently jesus saves
though not with my bank
unless you want to buy an ex soviet tank
i was there.......and i saw it all
i tripped many times, but didn't fall
4A.M. staring at the wall
thinking is this the be all, and end all?
the funeral people are taking me to court
does this battle really need to be fought?
dreamcatchers have all my dreams securely caught
........or do they?
because what these people don't understand, is that love cannot be bought.

Big time dyn-o-mite... poem, Paul. I know this is yours and all about yours but I hope you don't mind if I tag along because you're playing my song. I think final swan songs fly, but they can also come too late if love has to wait and then someone ends up alone.

ha ha. thanks gaily. i wrote this really intensely and really quickly, then fiddled around with it, and read it to you on the phone. thanks for the suggestion - biter of banks and tanks - pauly.

thanks little devil. it's good to be writing again. those spring swans are very inspirational. gotta go and level some lost mountains, and see if the bank can get me a deal on a soviet tank.......at least it'll stop people parking in front of my house ha ha - songs and peace - paul.

well i've never tried to buy a tank, nor have i attempted to level a mountain, but i've had my share of funerals and you're absolutely right: love cannot be bought. though i've paid a hefty price for it time and again...keep tickling hounds my friend, i'm off to chase cats and maybe some giant rats in politicians clothing - chris
