Inside

If you saw me now,
you would not know.
Weight on my shoulders,
the pain I don't show.

I smile and laugh,
but inside are tears.
The suffering I hide,
inside me are fears.

Often I think,
I'm not good enough.
I try to stay strong,
try to be tough.

But I'm about to break,
about to let go.
A ticking time bomb,
I'm ready to blow.

I don't know why,
don't really care.
Sometimes I guess,
life just isn't fair.

I would give anything,
I would give up it all.
To go back to times,
when life was a ball.

Sometimes life is like that, but there's nothing that you can do about that. All you can do, is smile and push through because, like the good times in our lives, the bad doesn't last forever. Take care friend.
