Him

Every time I see him
I think of everything I'd like to be for him
I think of everything I'd like to do for him
Him, he, a blessing on me
Him that holds my heart
Him that's world's apart
Him that makes smiling an art

But as I lay here in the dark
On thoughts of him I embark
On my heart he's left his mark
Him and me, not meant to be
My thought are only for him
My heart breaks with love for him
Will he allow me to love only him
