Flight Path.

Thunder roars over head
As I lie in my bed
No lightening though
How can it be?
Normally it’s the flashes
That fascinate me.
It seems to stop for a while
Then the roars begin again
At regular intervals
But there’s no rain
Which I find strange
Oh God it’s a plane
It seems we’re on the flight path.
