Poems - suicide note or not

suicide note or not

I feel like a corpse
That still breathes
Still moves and speaks
I cant feel most things
Like happiness
I still feel love
I know it because
Its so strong that it
Overwhelms my heart
I can feel pain
Sorrow and a deep depression
I cant think of many happy things
Only dark thoughts consume me
I think of cutting and bleeding profusely
Of how cold and empty i have become
How the darkness has fully consumed me
And has taken me to that place
Where i am lost without return
Without him the barrier has gone
The barrier to keep me at a certain point
I crossed that point yesterday afternoon
Without meaning to
Without noticing that i was heading there
He would be pissed knowing this
Knowing that i crossed that line
And became what i used to be
A cold, dark, empty being
That has no happiness inside
Without a sense of hope
He wouldnt like these words
I have written down
To him they would be
Most like a suicide note.
