My Poem
Moon Shards

She eats moon shards on Sundays.

Quickly, when no one is looking,
she plucks the moon from the sky,
then snaps it into little pieces of jagged light.

She promises to save fragments in her pill box,
but then presses them on her tongue;
resolve dissolving like wafers.

After all, she could always choose,
from a host of Sunday moons,
to chew more holes in her eyesight.

Whats up Rax, stumbled into this page through one of your poems. I have read a few of them now and must say they were very good. Also, I'm a big fan of music and some of those bands you listed are awesome. I got stuck on that Underworld Evolution track for a long time too which is odd because I normally hate soundtracks.

Anyway, take it easy.

We are all so patiently waiting
hoping for the event to begin
We can quickly end this anticipating
when you enlist to embibe poetical gin
