| Biography: |
I was born loving the light and have spent much of my life learning to discover it in unlikely places as well as likely ones.
From the time I was small I wanted to be a writer and certainly I have spent nearly a lifetime pursuing that art. In the process I raised five children, published many articles and poems and a number of self published books written both with my husband and by myself.
My most recent book, published by Galde Press is a combination of my Heartwings Love Notes--perspective pieces reflecting my personal philosophy, poetry to reflect the themes of the essays, and helpful exercises to allow readers to help themselves create a more positive approach to life.
I also write and publish a weekly internet column called Heartwings Love Notes. My weekly newspaper column, Good Earthkeeping is popular in our town as are the local cable programs I devise and produce.
I hope to keep learning and growing all my life. There is much to discover and enjoy and I hope to always see life from that perspective.
My husband and I are very much in love after more than three decades, and people tell us we are an inspiration to them. I try to live my life as a good example of a kind, loving person. It is my belief that we all do the best we can with what we are given to work with, and I do what I am able to help make the world a fruitful, happy garden of delights. |

| Pujakins's recent Blog entry. | Heartwings Love Notes 575 Happy Fathers' Day, Dearest Dad ( 43 reads) | Monday, June 17, 2013 (02:42:29) | | | Heartwings says, "Being a father is a wonderful, terrible, difficult, rewarding, sad, happy experience."
My father loved life and did his best to celebrate it. He enjoyed giving parties, unfortunately my mother did not. However, she didn't have much choice because he was a very gregarious man, prone to invite people over quite spontaneously--though only for cocktails, never for dinner. My mother wasn't at all spontaneous as far as dinner parties were concerned. She was in awe of our monthly potlucks and the frequent gatherings we held when we had our center for inner peace.
My father's grandfather, a lawyer, was also an amateur farmer, growing different varieties of fruit trees, and with the help of gardeners raising his own meat and vegetables. My father gravitated naturally to horticulture, working with a company that took care of people's properties and trees. Some of my fondest memories are of going to different homes with him as he supervised his men. He loved driving in his convertible with the top down.
He loved to get away from everything too. Several times a summer we were able to use my Great Aunt Alice's beach cottage. The only child there I was terribly bored. There was no electricity and no telephone. Daddy loved being away from the demands of his clients. He and I built sand castles and jumped in the waves together. This was the very best part of being at the cottage. Sometimes there would be sand dollars and shells to pick up.
The world my father grew up in was very different from mine or my children's. Yet there are values today that were part of growing up then. The connection to be found between father and child is as special and as important as it has ever been. Better yet, there is even more of a movement in today's society for fathers to spend time with their little ones, thus giving them a more balanced and well rounded childhood experience. My father was a pioneer in that and I rejoice in the time we had together. .
Blessings and Best Regards, Tasha Halpert

Hello:
may all the rainbows hidden through the realm of life,
palpate the lining of your thoughts and heartstrings.
May all the angels around your aura
dance freely around the life of you, and the heavenly things.

What else can be said
correct?
I hope
you fly
in this poetic world
of all these people.
'Pink Neon Flavor'
likes philosophy
and life as well.
And is the only person
around Sammi
outside of the internet
who understands it.
Yes,
I like philosophy

Poetry should be the view to our world.
Poetry is art through words
Art is poetry through vision
Poetry is word-art's paintbrush
Art is a merry vision of poetics
---
Music is sound through artistic frequency
it dances with these whirling heartstrings
it's the world's universal tasty sound wave
an accolade, a reigning gem of rainbows
the ear dance to our voicing silence
when, oh hail the words fail to speak
----
garments of musicality is our sumptuous beat
a dream dance alliance of our ongoing treat
the fixating ardent one for our rhythmic minds
crawling on the floor when feet can't walk on time
