I have spent forty years of my life as a wife and as a mother of 5. I have also owned and operated my own restaurant and catering business. There was never any time to be me. I sold the business. My children are all grown. My husband decided to leave on a Harley with some younger person riding on the back. So....after the hurt, anger, frustration and shock wore off and settled to the bottom I realized that I was finally free to chase my own dreams. Through all the years my only sanity was writing. Now it is my being. No matter what else the day holds I manage to get words to paper. New friends are on the horizon along with new adventures. Happy I am.

            Hello Paris - I am entirely remiss having not visited your page to leave my scribbles of welcome and welcome back, my friend. To say that you were missed is a major understatement... I was thrilled to find your poem posted in the "new" section yesterday. My eyes wide and expectant I hurried over to enjoy your style and essence once again!
