Life's final miracle

As he stared on the hospital's ceiling
Wondering if he had enough time
Enough time to cherish his life
As he kept counting his last breathes

Time was ticking down slowly
he was lying on the bed feeling lonely
he was afraid of dying alone
he wished  he could just go home

Suddenly it all just went dark
he realised dying without fear is an art
he couldn't feel anything for an hour
his only companion was frightening silence

he could see the ceiling again,
He was revived, Just to die again,
Just a little hope he had,
Maybe someone was there for him.

But No-one was there for him,
Maybe he was destined to die alone,
Who'll shed tears for him if he dies,
He asked himself while closing his tearful eyes....
