what's my sin

Selvarajoo 1942 (Malacca)

What"s worthy of me born a man,
I'll never really know or want to be known,
Now I'd refrain to adorn the skin of this creed,
I've tried hard all that I could,
But nothing this far turned any good,
Only sorrows and enmity had taken its venomous root.

Dearest mother trusted me not,
Not even to a simple bolt and nut,
"Pay me", she had said,
"Pay me the suckles that I've fed",

Darling daughter hated me so,
My very existence has given her sore,
Her only happiness to see me die and go,

Loving God, what's my sin, please be shown,
Wherefore, I'll tear down this worthless skin,
And sink it down the deepest drain ever seen,
Cause its worthiness is not of ones need.
