My father's slippers.

My father had a pair of slippers
which he used at home.
Whole day they were busy,
I found them very crazy.

I heard their sounds,
when they striked against the heels of my father.
I envisioned my appraoching bother.
Then my eyes only searched my mother.

They were too old
but very strong.
When the strapes were torned
Only then they were mended.

At home my father never
kept them apart from him.
Except when he went to bed
and after his mortal dead.

Still those slippers are at my home.
They have embraced the prints of his feet
and bearing the memory of my father
who is now far very far.
