I'm Not Okay

Each day,
In every way,
People say,
I'm not okay.

So, you wonder why I'm like this?
Could it be your love, your words, your kiss?
But now you leave me standing here on memory bliss.
You're the one I can't live without, the one that I miss.

I tear out my heart, swallow my tears.
I don't listen to my peers.
Realizing that I will never give my heart out in those future years.
All my happiness all turn to fears.

You could never imagine what you've done to me.
Never will I love again, nevermore will I see.
Nerlver will you experience this evil pain, I guarantee.
You said, I'd get over you, but I disagree.

How can your love die so fast?
Did you ever stop to think about our past?
I thought we were perfect, why couldn't it last?
You left me here, my heart still in a cast.

I sit here, all on my own.
No one to talk to, no late nights on the phone.
In my mind, questions still flown,
No explanations, unknown.

I hope you remember how much you loved me.
I hope you remember our good times planning a spree.
I hope you remember proposing, down on bended knee.
I hope you always remember our tree.

So everyday,
In every possible way,
People harshly say,
I'm not okay

Been writing for 20 years, however I did get writers block and lost my passion for quite a long time. Trying to find myself again more…
