A heart's deep plea

In truth's embrace, my soul seeks release, A plea for guidance, a heart's deep plea. Teach me, I implore, if love's fiery coals must cease, Let not my spirit in darkness be.

What wrong have I wrought, what fault unseen, That I should suffer such torture within?

Speak, I beg, let truth's sun intervene, Though like a fiery sword it may pierce,

let healing begin.

Oh, fill not my heart with sorrow's weight, My fragile mind, a vessel so fragile. Leave not my soul in a desolate state, Though it may pierce, let healing begin.

Oh, fill not my heart with sorrow's weight, My fragile mind, a vessel so frail. Leave not my soul in a desolate state, A gazelle's haste pace, my heart will portray in a tale.
