GRACE THEY CAN'T DENOUNCE

GRACE THEY CAN'T DENOUNCE

They say that I'm full of sorrow
That my spirit anguishes for  tomorrow
That I see a shattered world, in pieces
But brother, I tell ya, all I see, is Jesus

Not trapped by my sin, nor bound in hate
While all the world dances to their fate
I see a Dawn that's just about to break
The Son reigns eternal, dreamers all awake

Here I am! Here I Stand!
Oh God my Father lift Your Hand!
The world awaits, it wants to pounce
I stand in Grace they can't denounce

So point out my failure, laugh in your fear
I'm looking up my Salvation is so near!
Here I am! Lord I'm standing true
I know my Hope lies eternally in You

So tell me a story of trial and of trouble
How a lone man wanders the world's rubble
But brother, I'm an adopted child of the King
Watch out, the entire world's about to ring

Sing a song, of praise here with me
Stand in truth ye eternally free
For God so loved the world He gave
His Son eternally to the lost He save

They say that I'm full of sorrow
That my spirit anguishes for  tomorrow
That I see a shattered world, in pieces
But brother, I tell ya, all I see, is Jesus
AMEN

About this poem

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
