Permanent

Who do you think that
you are after all? ………Carolyn

Permanent

It is imagined
About some lines
That men always wear false smile
And go for hunt meanwhile

Only mother’s and sister’s relation
Can be with no equation
But to find one permanent
Presence of mind and needs thrust constant

It is some what a need
We all must heed
Life and age go together
So we need some one as partner

Love and lust two sides of the coin
One goes after it with lots of fun
Finds in fix with unbearable pain
Yet it is preferred with no gain

Let us care
For sentiments
Its movement
And for leisurely moments

Lavendar Hearts

look in to my heart
do you see my untamed love
do you see yourself

see the side dark and cold
that sorrow has molded
by tears mistakes cry
which could cause you to be gone
don't ever mean to hurt you

teasing jokes bring hurtful ness
then you go away not hearing me whimper
my pleading forgiveness
leaving my heart locked
giving sadness no way out
leaving me to wander
in my self made darkened hell

now that you have seen the hidden side
go a head, give it a flip
this side I love to bare naked

many souls live in my heart
most written in my blood

but not you my precious luv
you are written with our sweetness
millions of tiny lavender hearts
formed with my purple cream
intertwined with your white salty goodness

give my heart a hug and tug
sit yours on top of mine
time to tint our souls
let's get naked

Your Sigh

my heart is weeping
can you hear my soul whimpering
morning sun burns your cold passion

like the wind blows pollen off a flower
you blow my love away with your sigh
both drift aimlessly to no where special

pollen finds a place to snuggle
in the ground to create another life
to bring forth another fragrant bloom

my sacred love however
lays on the ground dying
beaten under by teardrops of rain

being buried still crying your name
suffocating your breath within me
sinking till my loves cry is heard no more

so much shared between us
now our hearts separated
only sound whispered
is the passing wind

love no longer felt
friendship gone now worthless
we both walked away willingly
left each other standing in darkness

smiles from laughter
our souls no longer see or feel
happiness that once was real
sacred and tender devotion gone

And Nothing Breeds Like Evil

And nothing breeds like evil
Sweet and subtle the cuckoo's guile
It lays its eggs in the crow's nest
And many a child begot of none
They sway their nests with sins not theirs
The cradle gone, the senses born
They try to crow their fathers breath
There they fail and yet again
And nothing breeds like evil....

conflicting loyalties

I like my haven of a home
in a quiet town, a quiet zone
but don't want to be too alone
and know that I'm not better known

but Mom and Pops are not my style
to get your mug you have to smile,
look at them, and stay a while
perched on stool in single file

when I'm ready to have some food
I don't know what'll be my mood
might want to cook at home and brood
or share it with the one I've wooed

but after, when it's time to smooch
between us tries to come my pooch
hoping another treat to mooch
addicted like a sot with hooch

the one I wooed is not amused
it starts a feud, she feels abused
and I can see that I am rude
to let my four-foot friend intrude

we've talked about my moving in
with or without the pooch a sin
"with" would be like gunga-din
"without" and I'd desert a friend

I wish we'd be a Mom and Pop
and all would smile to see our pup
we'd have them stay a while and sup
our spirits all be lifted up

A moment of mischief
Perhaps
He framed the questions

Our life long quest
Perhaps
To seek the answers

A moment of bliss
Perhaps
To see the folly

The moment of reunion
Sure
When we laugh together

An unsound disorder takes host
In a body for years I’ve loved
Memories becoming all but ghosts
Cell by cell with blackness she rusts

In each vessel of her sclera
In each fold of her fine vocals
In each tear of her mascara
The feat of a smile totaled

From a world all but brightening
Living in walls crafted by fear
Each breath, a scream of lightning
New evenings; old muscles speared

The feat of a smile totaled
Amidst an eerie, white speech
In each fold of her fine vocals
A desire for love beseeched

On the second day
time sat on a porch swing
staring out at fire engine red
azalea beaming in the sun.

First, experience joy
in rare sun shining, green
ivy winding, roses climbing
rainbows grace the lawn.

By the fifteenth day
no words escape thin lips
chapped, licked and pursed
expectant bubbles burst.

Bedraggled blossoms
drip, fragile fingers fidget
time blithers, bankers dither
curse idleness the worst.

Who can hear the whispers deep in the tree roots,
who knows the song that the wind fairies sing?
Who would be listening deep in the twilight
down in the dell by the fairy ring.

Who hears the wavelets polishing the pebbles,
gossips with minnows where the brook runs deep?
Who hears the snowflakes calling to each other
across frozen meadows where the caterpillars sleep.

Who hears the elf song winding through oak trees
gathering the fair folk for a midnight dance?
Who hears the moonlight singing in the garden
sounding out the measures as they twirl and prance?

Unicorn ears hear the songs of the seasons
always attuned to the music they play,
signaling the time, the tone, and the turning
that winds through the moments and rounds off the days.

they ask why not them.

This inward-looking life

No time is wasted after that.
Can’t say that I know you’ve been lying

without also incriminating myself.

Can’t admit that I’d rather be dying

or at least living anyplace else.

Funny how so much of our lives are lies,

how if we were truthful we’d be left to die.

Dry Erase Board

You are to me what you’re doing at the moment.

The instant, it seems, that you stop, I forget it.

I find that falling in love and holding a grudge

are akin.

I consider shitting and stealing to be equal sins.

Since all are repeat offenders, everyone is evil.

No reason to dismiss urges of primary heed.

If you wish not to be devalued, just feed me.

Yet if my physical comfort grinds against your

rapport,

my own affinity will be to watch your pleasure die,

though never to the point of a vendetta.

I cannot tolerate physiological imperfection.

Each of you are aware, I believe, and still hinder

my peace.

Laughing, enjoying themselves in spite of

my agony—

am I not to resolve that they get off to the thought?

This is how I feel:

only as low as my blood sugar, as rigid as my joints.

It would be daft to trust any of you with your

unapologetic meddling,

but I don’t ever resent you—I can’t make it that far.
No credit is no excuse to quit.

Can keep going if just a glass of water

is given at rest stops.

They promise, but each time

I am deprived.

It is taking too long to die.

Nitin Narula

Thoughts at the Ritz

His ass is divine!
I read this as I pee
in a fancy lobby
of a fancy hotel
after waiting too long for my lover.
He is coming, he reassures,
he is just late.
I sit here now and think about asses,
the lovely ones,
the disappointing ones,
mine.
I'd rate my lover's ass as good,
but not bathroom stall worthy.
I want to find this kind of divinity,
want to cup it as I pull it towards me.
I want to give it its own name,
to call on it when I am in need.
But for now I wipe, stand,
smooth my skirt, leave the stall
and greet the bathroom attendant.
I wonder whether it is she who wrote
such fine prose on the tiled wall.

Finding Home
by Odin Roark

So temporary
Earth's tabled destiny

The shifting tectonics of time
only know continuous evolution
rendering today's attachment
but tomorrow's adjusted divide

Most sense not
when disturbance begins
when spilled milk begins to teach
when failure signals wisdom

From cradle to grave
conditioning grows unabated
advancing through
preschool
elementary
middle
high
higher
finally granting
one's very own onion skin
reality's tenuous admission ticket

Perfect job
Do this
Have that

Perfect relationship
Enjoined
Divorced

Unexpected seismic shifts erupt
innate calculations run asunder
passion's molten flow
fuses heart and mind

Eternity awaits
shackles melt free
unhappiness exits
flames cleanse bodily disease

Atop etheric wonder
smoke and cloud
transport ecstasy's confetti

seeking the first breeze to nowhere
the embracing calm of everywhere

Here

Existence sans time
day and night merge
with all that
was
is
and
will
ever
be
