desire was melting
the boundaries
that stood between them

two lost souls
cast away
finding mirrored passion
in one another’s eyes

she tells herself
there’s no sin
in survival

he breathes life
back into
her dark and dying spirit
and she forgets
all the reasons they could never be

Pedophile??? KILL HIM

Tonight is the night
we take off the mask

Bring in the sacrifice

So we can slit his ass
Here is the knife

Who goes first

We all have a need
to quench our thirst

The agony, the pain

That was good, cut him again

Down the legs
left then right

Hes tied up; cant put up a fight
tabasco in the eyes
a rope strapped to his cock
as for weight to cause pain
we use a rock

He screams and cries
we have tears of joy

Cut his dick off
thats what he gets
for touching a little boy

No I couldn’t feel your pain
Or even hear your cries
I couldn’t help you either
So please stop asking why
I couldn’t catch you when you fell
Or try to help you up
I couldn’t give you encouragement
To a life that sucks
I couldn’t shed light on your life
Because mines was dark as well
I couldn’t be your savior cause
I to have fell

The test was.....positive

She rushes to the restroom
And takes a big breath
Read the paper that give instructions
Step by step
Mind racing with thoughts
Heart beating out her chest
Trying to prepare her self
For what happens next
Looks down at the test
Lines multiplied by two
Screams fuck man
Now what am I going to do
Walks out tears down her cheek
So distort she can’t speak
Mother goes to see what wrong
But she pushes her away
What on earth did that test say?
Mother goes to use the bathroom
And what does she find
The test that her daughter left behind
One things for sure
her life changed that day
It was positive two lines it says
A baby is on its way

All you had to say were five words

(will you be my girlfriend?)

and you didn't.

Instead,
you tell your friends that you basically told me "fuck you"
and that they should be happy.

You tell me all you wanted was a girlfriend who wouldn't CHEAT
on you a third time.

(Because I've definitely been staking out fuck buddies lately while I've
been at home rubbing your feet, and writing you poems, and washing your back in a bubble bath.)

And now you're upset that I haven't been hanging out with you all day and kissing up on you, and I threw out all the little notes you wrote me.

It's either friends, or lovers. You've decided that
we can't be both, so don't get mad at me for keeping my distance when you don't make a move asking for more of me.

I really hate starting lines with "you"
but I really hate all this shit we're going through, too.

Spot the dog

Spot the dog is yellow with of course, a brown spot.
Most of my generation watched him on t.v. as children.
Spot's trip to the beach! Spot goes to work!
Well, a girl once gave me a stuffed Spot.
This was well over two years ago, it was a gift in our relationship.
I fell in love with Spot just as hard as I fell for the girl
and I took him every where I went.
It felt good to be five years old again.

Now time has passed as it always does
and I'm still trying to throw poor Spot away.
He's been in and out of the trash a billion times.
I don't even talk to the girl anymore, she doesn't
creep into my daily thoughts,
but Spot will stay tucked away somewhere in my room,
and I'll tug him out from the dark when I need some light.

I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE
SO MUCH TO SHARE
SO MUCH....TO LOOK FOWARD TO :)
Oh no, not again. I can feel them coming, the sobs.
My body begins to shake and tremble,
my stomach turns with a familiar smirk.
You walk into the room and I'm silently begging
for you to look my way, notice me.
Even if only for a second.
Let me feel the warmth of your eyes, skin, and heart.
I would reach out to you, but I'm scared shitless of
your cold flinch, and those words;
"Don't touch me. Go away."

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to provoke...
I only wanted to feel the warmth of you.

Eleven thirty I hauled myself out of bed,
took a piss, couldn't wash my hands
because there was Drano in the sink.

Quietly crept back into the bedroom
where the sun was penetrating delicately through the shut blinds
trying to block out the world, but the world refused.

The light fell upon your face and jumped off into the room
from your long eyelashes, like a diving board into a pool of Heaven.

Warm sheets greeted my skin as I put an arm over yours.
Softer than clouds. I traced my finger over the swell of your hip
and crashed gently down into your sleeping frame.

Elegy In The Countryside

The startled blackbird's call gives early warning,
The furtive fox slinks homeward with the dawning,
The barn owl swoops in silent flight, a shriek of deathly pain,
And in the misty moonlight cautious movement all in vain.

The old mill shimmers in the silvery light, ghostly and forgotten,
The sluice gate where otters frolic, neglected, the timbers rotten,
The heron upon the tree top tall, statuesque, so patiently watching,
And the wildcat torments, with cruel claws, a mouse he's after catching.

The cockerel perched on the henhouse roof proclaims a new day dawning,
The milk herd in the meadowsweet pasture arise at the farmers calling,
The musical river eternally sings in a language of God's understanding,
And there on a midstream rock, well used, the kingfisher makes a landing.

The blacksmith's forge where old Billy once toiled, devoured by oxidisation,
The old school deserted no children within, another victim of urbanisation,
The huntsman’s horn consigned to the past, for a while in memories keeping,
And my Garden of Eden is fading away, no wonder my poor heart is weeping.

Little child I can hear you sob and weep
In your bed you should be sound asleep
Cold and blue your little hands and feet
Your mum’s still working on lonely street.

In your eyes displayed distress and pain
While I attempt to console you yet again
With my coat your body at once I enfold
Thus protecting you from this biting cold.

In front of the fire in my favourite chair
With warm rosy cheeks and a teddy bear
I see your mother has come rolling home
Chatting to a punter on her mobile phone.

Again she has crossed that forbidden line
The cops are waiting at her door this time
The neighbourhood watch using the phone
She’ll learn what it’s like being home alone.

Bad Moon Rising

The old man seemed so low and sad
Little wonder for the news was bad
Lost in thoughts of what lay ahead
So hard to accept he would soon be dead.

He was three score years and ten plus two
And didn’t want to die he had things to do
Thoughts of his wife and how she might cope
Big sobs welled up and choked in his throat.

For the sake of others he must be strong
He prayed the pain wouldn't last too long
His thoughts flew back to childhood days
Cherished memories in his mind displayed.

He smiled and recalled their wedding day
Then their children around his feet at play
All down the years he had seen them grow
In truth, he said, you reap what you sow.

He grinned and laughed at times gone past
The years it seemed, had flown by so fast
He sighed and yawned, drifting off to sleep
Then gently his soul became God's to keep.

Tír na nÓg

No don't look back lest your heart grow old
For they'll turn you away from Tír na nÓg
Come, let's hurry up or we'll miss the train
In your lifetime it won’t pass this way again.

Times faster than light the train did race
No machine on earth could match its pace
A lonesome whistle the screech of brakes
And there in the station a young lad waits.

The tall smiling youth waves his grubby hand
Then I recognise Jim, my once long lost pal
Midst shared tears of joy we long embrace
Thank heavens I came to this wonderful place.

My young friend Jim takes my feeble hand
Then we walk and talk of this magical land
A boy and girl call my name smiling sweetly
I cannot believe who approaches to greet me.

When I was a child they were wrinkled and old
They flew off to heaven together, I was told
Behold here they stand in blossoming youth
And here stand I all withered and stooped.

What a wonderful place this Tír na nÓg
I'm the only one here decrepit and old
Then my eyes behold such a brilliant light
Don't be scared says Jim; it'll be all right.

The light envelops this tired ancient frame
In less than an instant I'm now young again
Through valley and glen we run without care
In bluebell woodland we rest a while there.

Then came the sad thought, ah it's only a dream
Of days that are gone how I wish this were real
So clear was the whisper how knowing Jim's smile
Not so my young friend you'll be here for a while.

To the girl sitting in my living room who I don't even know anymore

Yes, I am a seventeen year old girl,
but I don't like boys.
The only man I've ever been attracted to
barely even counts!
(Sorry, William Beckett.)

I didn't think it was such a crime to rekindle a friendship
that happened to be with the first guy I ever dated.
My best friend of five years decided not to talk to me anymore
and I thought maybe it'd be nice to see a familiar face
who will actually help me out when I need it.

If I had known all of this would have come from me hanging out
with an old friend, I would have just stayed at home lonely,
waiting for you to get out of your mood and watch t.v. with me...
or something like that.

I know what you're thinking, but I'm not feeling sorry for myself.
Maybe for once, I thought I could have a new friend, that's all.

The Storm

That morning the breeze was light and airy
Like fluttering butterflies or dainty fairies
Tickling the wind chimes with delicate wings
Oh how pleasantly the music of nature rings

Covertly the wind became rough and rowdy
The beech and sycamore complaining loudly
As lightening strikes, causing dread and fear
Of death and mayhem drawing rapidly near

Beware; beware, the weatherman screamed
His warning, for many, too late it seemed
In the distance approaching a terrible sound
Like wailing banshees and the devils hounds

From the higher slopes like a mountain cat
Those cruel claws ripping this way and that
Spitting vicious contempt, insane with rage
More wanton destruction wherever you gaze

At the window shutters tearing and shrieking
Like souls of the dammed forgiveness seeking
Then past the eaves, whistling and screeching
Around the chimneypot’s howling and weeping

Upon the coastline rocks white horses trashing
At harbour walls waves pounding and smashing
Across the angry sky forked lightening flashing
Thors thunderous hammer booming and crashing

It seems the lord of storms his all has given
For the raging elements no longer wildly driven
From their shelters citizens are warily peeping
Then give thanks to God for their safekeeping

I must have said this at least three times.
Such a thing was not meant to be left to me.
You said you didn't care, you were just tired
of being the non-girlfriend girlfriend.

(I didn't mind it, seeing as how it's either that
or this awkward silence, ignore each other while in the same room
kind of thing)

But you really did care.
So, I hope for once I'm giving you what you want.
I won't speak until spoken to, and even then I'll keep my voice low.
No eye contact, no kisses, no hugs, no affection.
Just a ghost wandering the house.

The Eagle And The Horse

Quite a long time ago when my son was a child
He had a tame eagle and a white horse to ride
His eagle would fly to lands distant and strange
Returning to tell him that nothing had changed

He learned about people so wretched and thin
Their poor little children all bloated and grim
Sad haunted looks, their eyes dim with despair
For the rich of the world didn't know didn't care

At night in his dreams the white horse he would ride
To lands where starved thousands were destined to die
He remembers their wailing, the moans and the sighs
And he saw the Grim Reaper wipe tears from his eyes

He thought, where’s this God we all pray to for help?
And why don't his apostles give more of their wealth?
Why can't the rich nations put an end to this scourge?
Or in truth would they rather spend money on wars?

The Doorway

Through this doorway all must go or our journey surly ends in woe
There is no other route you see, for the good or bad bond or free
The rich man through the needles eye a narrow path he can but try
There only ever was one way, no matter what earth’s wise men say,

The doorway’s closing as I write and judgment day looms into sight
Upon the door many shall knock, be gone, to you the door is locked
All their lives many have prayed, unheard each single word they said
Ignore the way you have to go, ignored are you, for it is written so.

Mankind has cherry picked the word, death to those a flaming sword
Have they forgotten they are but dust, thinking only of earthly lust
The word of man now given credence, a fine example of disobedience
As once before the word is ignored, in truth, by many now abhorred.

The narrow path not to mans liking, the pattern again is very striking
Clearly many are non-believers, lost or blinded by the great deceiver
To he who hears the truth well known, the deaf are lost and all alone
Blind leading blind stumbled and fell, that path shall only lead to hell.

Four In The Morning

It’s four in the morning and I can’t sleep
How the seconds tick and minutes creep
The startled blackbirds give early warning
A prowling tomcat to his home returning.

Little cock robin singing sharp and bright
As he bathes in mankind’s generated light.
That cheeky wee rascal has brains to burn
For the neon street lamps keep him warm.

The big black crows have joined the chorus
In treetops high calling hoarse and raucous
Dawn’s grey light becomes increasingly bright
Shadows vanishing like the creatures of night.

The nervous magpie demonstrates his mistrust
His vocal machine gun sounds harsh and robust
Rowdy squabbling jackdaws enter into the fray
As they celebrate the dawning of another day.

Has been like a gleaming rock,
Buried deep within the earth.
Beautiful yet dirty.

Rock-A-Bye Baby: A Modern Interpretation

Rock a-bye-baby
On the tower top
When the wind blows
I’ll let you drop
When your skull breaks
And you hear mummy’s call
She’s coming down too
I’ll make her fall

Police are descending
Sirens and light
Trying to find me
As I run through the night
Out through the back doors
Into the street
Won’t hear the footsteps
Of my quick feet
