Analysis of A Drift

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

I live my life
Lost at sea
A drift in its waters
I float endlessly

Awaiting the day
To come for me
When I’ll be as free as a bird
And be as free as can be

Until that day comes
I will sit and wait
Accepting all things
According to fate

About this poem

Is there a major significance between adrift and a drift???I will leave that up to each reader to contemplate that one and decide for their own selves…I don’t know why Dorothy…But for some silly reason I feel like listening to grey matter when I think about this one…Maybe I was a strange continent…And due to my blindness I truly was immune to all reason…I actually believed my narci was my world…And my wedding vows were a sacred commitment that I felt obligated to cherish and honor…I wonder IF I have learned anything from all of this???Only time will tell…I guess I will just have to keep on acting like a fool and bleeding endlessly until our time does arrive…Some may see this as a weakness…Oh well…So much for the unknown jester’s endless wandering…It seems as I missed my Uber again…Although it seems as IF they may have left me a message…For some silly reason I am now seeing yellow in a certain in situ picture I have posted online somewhere…https://www. google.com/search?q=what+does+yellow+smoke+mean+in+a+hostile+landing+zone+meaning&client=safari&sca_esv=586315320&channel=iphone_bm&source=hp&ei=oVVnZZ2zI7SOur8P7Y-Q-Ac&oq=what+dies+yellow+smoke+nean+in+a+hostile+landing+zone&gs_lp=EhFtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1ocCI1d2hhdCBkaWVzIHllbGxvdyBzbW9rZSBuZWFuIGluIGEgaG9zdGlsZSBsYW5kaW5nIHpvbmUqAggAMgcQIRigARgKMgcQIRigARgKMgcQIRirAhgKSNSVA1DVJFjs-gJwDHgAkAEAmAGyAaAB3kWqAQQxLjYzuAEByAEA-AEBqAIewgIFECkYgATCAgUQKRigAcICExApGIAEGIoFGJECGLEDGEYY-QHCAgIQKcICChApGIAEGEYY-QHCAg8QKRiABBiKBRhDGEYY-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&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-hp Go figure…
