Analysis of If I only had one.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

If I only had one.

If I only had one breast, would you still love me, or would you go for someone else? If I can't whisper, I love you in your ear. That is one of my biggest fears. I have one remaining wet teardrop; if that is not what you desire, please dispose of me. No, my dear, I know you're upset. But I will always love you until they put me to rest. I will never give up the sparkle in your eyes or the kiss from those silky, sweet lips, and then, with that smile, I will be here for a while. If you had no legs or arms, I would still love you, and do you know harm? But would you still love me? That is my biggest fear. Now you see my dilemma, my dear. I would love you more than the day before.
