Analysis of Pity More Apt

I’m tired of people
slinging hash
and calling it Haute Cuisine

The Emperor naked
behind the mirror
where truth still reigns supreme

Waiting for accolades
pity more apt
so they again can void

Leaving their excrement
out on display
— only the rats to enjoy
