Analysis of Eternal Echoes

Melody Martinez 1986 (Texas)

In the quiet of night,
Echoes of laughter fade,
A life cut short,
In shadows it laid.

Promises unspoken,
Dreams left undone,
Her absence a silence,
In a world overrun.

Each day a reminder,
Of what could have been,
A daughter's unfinished life,
Lost in the wind.

The ache in my heart,
Never seems to fade,
For death stole her away,
Leaving memories to cascade.

Yet in the depths of sorrow,
Her spirit still thrives,
In every sunrise,
In every moment I strive.

Though she's gone from sight,
Her love forever stays,
In the fabric of my being,
In the songs that play.

So I'll carry her with me,
In every step I take,
Knowing her light shines on,
In every dawn that breaks.
