Reconsideration

Albert A. Lavallee 1952 (Syracuse, NY)

June 22

My sleep was very deep
If dreams came, I could not recall
But sometime past midnight
I was pulled astrally from my slumbered fall.
Half-conscious yet half still asleep
I could feel my body in motion
Rippling like gentle waves
On an almost calm ocean.
I was not sure of this event
As I barely parted my eyes.
The room was filled with soft blues
As Winter clouds had given way
To warm and comforting Autumn skies.
And I realized my imagined maiden
With tones of white and loving hues
Stood floating motionless before me
Directing my sleepy astral rise.
