The Long Journey To Your Heart
This is something I found out from the start
That there’s a long journey to your heart
A journey that someday I wish I could take
And prove to you that your heart is not something I want to break
I know a lot of men in the past have treated you bad, and a lot of them have made you sad. But trust in a man like me, and the love I have for you will set you free
Free from the hurt. and free from the pain.
The love I have for you will not be in vein.
So I’m asking the question I asked from the start, can I please travel the long journey to your heart.

I wrote this poem back in 2003 and it got published through the old poetry.com site. So I’ll try it again
