Ethics of the Antithetical World

By the people, for the people! Sounds very cool,
But it has become a very confused rule.
With people of all kind,
It makes it difficult for a single motive to bind.
Democracy was made so that the rule would be just,
But low morality and values of the people make
democracy difficult to trust.

Due to corruption on black money our system is resting,
Bureaucrats need to pay bribes & pull in favors for their posting.

If corruption persists it will make the whole system fail,
There are chances it might send democracy off the rail.
Black money & white money are balancing powers, But black
money today is more valued than farmers value rain showers.

Offending a legal system is technically a crime,
Even if morally it does not rhyme.
The new criminals catch up with all the new trends,
Always looking to make influential friends.
Crime appears small when they are stealing sand,
It becomes big when they start grabbing other people's land.

Elections have a constituency or wards,
But after winning, Many politicians are more interested in becoming wealthy lords.
Even if we do not like we have to accept the art of winning an election,
Because this is how the general public does their selection.

Some communities are discriminated by their gods,
Financed for growth by their communal lords.
Some build a temple, church, mosque or a religious tower,
Their ulterior motive is to achieve and retain power.
In today's world, religious views have a limited advantage,
Most times being communal in business is a disadvantage.

Now building values among people has become important,
Before it makes our whole system impotent.
Above all religions and dharma,
Is our reasoning and Karma.
To reduce human immorality flaws,
Our system has legislated many laws.
